SGPC Begins Sri Akhand Path Sahib for Sikhs Died in Afghanistan Bomb Blast

AMRITSAR SAHIB—The apex Sikh body Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhik Committee on July 3 started a Sri Akhand Path Sahib for the spiritual peace of Afghan Sikh died in a bomb blast at Jalalabad. Notably, 12 Sikhs including upcoming parliamentarian S. Avtar Singh Khalsa had lost lives in a suicide bomb attack in Jalalabad on July 1.

 

Sharing the development with media, Dr. Roop Singh informed that Sri Akhand Path Sahib has been laid at Gurdwara Diwan Hall Manji Sahib in Sri Harmandir Sahib complex. He added that Sri Akhand Path Sahib will be culminated on July 5 and ‘Ardas’ (prayer) will be performed for the spiritual peace of deceased Sikhs.
