FARIDKOT—International Gatka Diwas was celebrated today with full religious fervor at Bargari. The day was celebrated in grain market of Bargari where Sarbat Khalsa appointed acting Akal Takht Jathedar Bhai Dhian Singh Mand is sitting on strike seeking justice for Sikhs in Bargari sacrilege episode.
Various groups of Gatka players manifested their skills by playing Gatka with full enthusiasm. Sarbat Khalsa appointed Jathedar of Takht Sri Damdama Sahib Baba Baljit Singh Daduwal also played Gatka on this eve.
Prominent Sikh leaders SAD (Amritsar) president S. Simranjit Singh Mann, BAMCEF’s National President S. Simranjit Singh Mann, SADA’s General Secretaries S. Jaskaran Singh Kahan Singh Wala and S.
