LUDHIANA—The 26th martyrdom anniversary of Sikh freedom fighter Shaheed Bhai Rashpal Singh Chhandra was enthusiastically observed by the Sikh masses at his native village Chhandra (near Ludhiana) on June 12. Bhai Chhandra was a brave fighter of Bhindranwala Tiger Force of Khalistan who attained martyrdom in 1992 while battling against the oppressive Indian regime.
The anniversary program was attended by renowned Sikh leaders like Damdami Taksal (Ajnala) chief Bhai Amrik Singh Ajnala, Dal Khalsa patron Bhai Daljit Singh Bittu, Dal Khalsa president Bhai Harpal Singh Cheema, Dal Khalsa activist Bhai Sarabjit Singh Ghuman, Bhai Kulwinder Singh Khanpuria etc.
