BREAKING: Holy Corpus of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji Vandalized in Bachhaudi

BALACHAUR—Just three days after the sacrilege of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji in village Dangoli near Ropar, another unfortunate incident of vandalizing the holy corpus in village Bachhaudi (near Balachaur) has again come to fore. The incident occurred in the afternoon hours on June 12 and got recorded in the CCTV cameras installed inside Gurdwara Sahib.

Village resident culprit might be seen entering and vandalizing the holy corpus inside Gurdwara Sahib in CCTV footage. After vandalizing the holy corpus, the culprit lies down naked inside the Gurdwara Sahib while two other Sikhs could also be seen moving randomly and not taking any action against the naked youth. However, when other villagers rush into Gurdwara Sahib after 8 minutes of incident they thrash him and the culprit moves outside after wearing clothes.  

Although, on watching CCTV footage one gets impression that the sacrilege committer is mentally upset but the Police denies it.

Interacting with media, the local Police informed that the guilty culprit has been arrested and a case has been registered against him under section 295-A of IPC. The Police further informed that the culprit committed sacrilege after coming back from the cremation of his mother.
