AMRITSAR SAHIB—Directing the Sikh community to use electric appliances installed in Sukh Asan Sahib only during their presence, the SGPC appointed Akal Takht Jathedar Giani Gurbachan Singh has given end to the belief of maintaining temperature of Sukh Asan Sahib in Gurdwaras. He has said that change in weather doesn’t hold any impact on Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji so the Sikh devotees should stop running electric appliances round the clock.
Giani Gurbachan Singh has said that instructions are repeatedly issued to use high quality electric equipment and wires in Sukh Asan Sahib but still the incidents of burning of sacred corpus are continuously occurring. He has asked the Sikh devotees not to increase chances of unfortunate incidents due to their excessive devotion.
He has directed all the Gurdwara Management Committees and Sikh devotees only to glow a small light during night in Sukh Asan Sahib.
When Sikhs are going to wake up and get from away from these karamkands which our Guru’s clearly rejected. They told us word in Guru Granth Sahib ji is our Guru , If Sikhs would have been reading and following the Guru;s word we wouldn’t be facing this bachitter natak problem now.
