Former Indian PM Manmohan Singh pays obeisance at Sri Harmandir Sahib

AMRITSAR SAHIB, Punjab—Former Indian Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh on March 25 paid obeisance at the holiest Sikh shrine Sri Harmandir Sahib. He was accompanied by his wife Bibi Gursharan Kaur, brother S. Surjit Singh Kohli and other family members on this occasion.

After offering deg of karah prasad at Sri Harmandir Sahib’s entrance, Dr. Manmohan Singh paid obeisance inside the sanctum sanctorum. He was honoured with Siropao by the Hazoori Granthi Bhai Rajdeep Singh Ji on this occasion.

The SGPC officials including SGPC executive member Advocate Bhagwant Singh Sialka, SGPC member Bhai Rajinder Singh Mehta, SGPC Secretary Manjit Singh Bath and Sri Harmandir Sahib’s Manager Sulakhan Singh Bhangali honoured Dr. Manmohan Singh and his wife with siropaos, a portrait of Sri Harmandir Sahib and a set of religious books.

“It’s a blessing for me that I have got chance to pay obeisance at Sri Harmandir Sahib” he wrote visitor’s diary.

  1. What did he do as prime minister to get justice for Sikhs killed in fake encounters. He sat along with persons like Bhagat tytler sajjan kumar. No one is barred from visiting Darbar Sahib I wished he went there to ask for forgiveness for the sins he committed against his own community.

    • Of cause he asked for forgiveness what else would he had gone for, as he doesn’t have much time left, a puppet prime minster of the Congress Party and the gandhi family.
      Sonia gandhi was to scared to become prime minster, so gave Manmohan Singh the Job with no real power as she pulled all the strings.
