KURUKSHETRA, Haryana—Mortal remains of Bhai Gurbakhsh Singh Khalsa were today consigned to flames by his son Jujhar Singh amid presence of hundreds of Sikhs activists at village Thaska Ali (Kurukshetra, Haryana). Notably, Bhai Gurbakhsh Singh Khalsa had ended his life by jumping from a water tank at his native village in Haryana on March 20.
Sources have informed that the Sikh activists were being barred from entering village Thaska Ali by the Haryana police to control gathering of Sikhs. Hundreds of Sikhs were reportedly stopped at Punjab-Haryana border and were harassed to bar them from entering in Haryana.
Sarbat Khalsa appointed Interim Akal Takht Jathedar Bhai Dhian Singh Mand, Jathedar of Takht Sri Damdama Sahib Bhai Baljit Singh Daduwal, Bhai Amrik Singh Ajnala, United Akali Dal’s General Secretary Gurdeep Singh Bathinda and other prominent personalities attended the funeral.
Sikh24 has learnt that the Sikh activists failed in getting any written assurance from the Haryana government about suspension of SP and DSP responsible for the death of Bhai Gurbakhsh Singh Khalsa. Earlier, the Sikh activists had announced to delay Bhai Khalsa’s funeral till suspension of concerned SP and DSP.
Akali Dal President Sukhbir Badal too has demanded the Haryana Government to take swift action in suspending the guilty police officials. Meanwhile, Panthik bodies have not announced any plan to seek release of Sikh detainees whose release was being sought by Bhai Gurbaksh Singh.
This is all due to the RSS agents sitting at Darbar Singh and Akaal Takhat with ego. Until Akaal Takhat is free of these gunde we cannot see anything will change. As confirmed above by Bhai Ji its so true to the core when will we learn that we are slaves in corrupt India.
