SYF Bhindranwale to Mark Bhai Charanjit Singh Jeeta’s 30th Martyrdom Anniversary

HOSHIARPUR, Punjab—The pro-freedom outfit Sikh Youth Federation Bhindranwala is going to mark 30th martyrdom anniversary of Shaheed Bhai Charanjit Singh alias Jeeta, Shaheed Bhai Mohinderpal Singh and Shaheed Bhai Satbachan Singh in village Herhiaan of District Hoshiarpur on November 3. Notably, Shaheed Bhai Charanjit Singh alias Jeeta was renowned armed Sikh fighter who laid his life for Sikh sovereignty in the 1980’s.

Speaking to Sikh24, SYFB’s Senior Vice President Bhai Ranjit Singh Damdami Taksal informed that Sri Akhand Path to mark the martyrdom anniversary will be laid on November 1. He added that after culmination of Sri Akhand Path Sahib on November 3, a religious program will be organized to pay tributes to the martyrs.  “Renowned Raagis, Dhadis, Kavishars, Preachers and Narrators will address the religious discourse to present Sikh devotees in this program” he added.

Bhai Ranjit Singh Damdami Taksal further informed that the families of martyred Sikh warriors of current Sikh struggle will also be honoured at the end of program.  

Shedding light on the life of Shaheed Bhai Charanjit Singh, Bhai Ranjit Singh Damdami Taksal informed that Bhai Charanjit Singh had attained martyrdom on November 3, 1987 in village Nainowal.
