Hondh Chillad Massacre: SGPC President asks Haryana CM to indict culprits

AMRITSAR SAHIB, Punjab—SGPC President Prof. Kirpal Singh Badungar has written a letter to the Chief Minister of Haryana Manohar Lal Khattar urging him to get the culprits of Hondh Chillad massacre indicted.  Speaking with Sikh24 about latest developments, Prof. Badungar said that the Sikh community can never forget the barbaric carnage of Sikhs by the Hindu mobsin Haryana and other parts of India.

“Its time that the Haryana Chief Minister takes concrete steps to punish the culprits,” he said.

He added that it was very unfortunate that the Haryana government has still not imposed recommendations made by Justice T.P. Garg led investigation commission to indict the Police officers SP Satinder Kumar, DSP Ram Bhoj, Sub-Inspector Ram Kishor and Head constable Ram Kumar.

Manvinder Singh Giaspura had unearthed the remains of 32 Sikhs at the village of Hondh Chillar, near Gurgaon in Haryana, who had been massacred en-mass by a Hindu mobs during the 1984 Sikh genocide. Giaspura was unfairly dismissed from his employment as an engineer, after he discovered and exposed the barbaric find in 2010.
