FATEHGARH SAHIB, Punjab—During the Panthik conference at Fatehgarh Sahib on December 26, the Shiromani Akali Dal (Amritsar) President Simranjit Singh Mann sought the imposition of Anandpur Sahib Resolution of 1973, announcing that it would favour Punjab and it’s people. The notion of pressurizing the Punjab government to adopt the Anandpur Sahib Resolution was put forward by United Akali Dal President Mohkam Singh, to which Simranjit Singh Mann agreed and sought its imposition.
Blasting the ruling SAD-BJP alliance in Punjab as an anti-Panthik alliance, Mann said that it was very unfortunate that the desecration culprits couldn’t be traced even after the passage of more than a year.
Appealing to Punjab masses to support his party for the formation of ‘Sarkar-e-Khalsa’ government in Punjab in 2017 assembly polls, Simranjit Singh Mann announced to contest the election in all 117 assembly constituencies, in collaboration with like-minded parties.
Simranjit Singh Mann also asked the ‘Sarbat Khalsa 2015’ appointed Jathedars to take part in the procession to be taken at Fatehgarh Sahib in commemoration of the incomparable martyrdom of Shote Sahizaade Baba Zorawar Singh and Baba Fateh Singh.
Later, Interim Akal Takht Jathedar Dhian Singh Mand announced to take part in procession and warned the Punjab government of serious consequences if it tried bar them.
Jathedar Amrik Singh Ajnala (Jathedar of Takht Sri Kesgarh Sahib) and Jathedar Baljit Singh Daduwal (Jathedar of Takht Sri Damdama Sahib) also addressed the Sikh gatheringat the event.
Prof. Mohinderpal Singh (General Secretary, Shiromani Akali Dal Amritsar) read the message of Akal Takht Jathedar Jagtar Singh Hawara.
It may be recalled here that the Jagtar Singh Hawara was appointed as Jathedar of Sri Akal Takht Sahib at the Sarbat Khalsa 2015’ called at village Chabba on November 10 of 2015. Jathedar Jagtar Singh is currently languishing in Tihar Jail in Delhi.
What ever be the causes.
We need to analyze it ,fix it and then
RESURRECT our king Ranjit Singh -2 with all the glory he deserves in 2017.
Yes let us all join hands and make Punjab great once again.
We must Ressurect our King and rectify all the short comings by which his kingdom fell.
The shortcomings by which his kingdom fell – AFTER his death and three subsequent Maharajahs – was from treachery and high treason of his Dogra ministers.
Punjab will rise again to its glory that it has been deprived for so long by a host of Religious , Nationalists and Imperialistic forces.
Punjab’s greatest period of glory was during the Khalsa Raj of the Sikh Maharajah Ranjit Singh who ruled with Sikh principles. Yes absolutely let us return to that.
We must make Punjab the best utopian state in the world.
A heaven on Earth.
After the fall of Ranjit Singh kingdom the people of Punjab need to Ressurect it to its former glory.
We need a Ranjit Singh-2 to rise from Ashes to be a beacon of hope to whole mankind
Ranjit Singh was a ‘Sikh’ Maharajah, if you to wish to emulate him why are you supporting excommunicated Badals who are not recognised as Sikhs and have been shamed and thrown out of the faith for their heretical behaviours?
Anandpur Sahib resolution mainly is more rights for states which is good for all the States & its public; but an undemocratic party in the center won’t do anything for the welfare of its people. From the day one, Modi in the center, they are attacking Sikhs, muslims, & Dalits.
Implementing the Anandpur Sahib Resolutions are the only way India can honour its debts and obligations to the Sikhs and start to right the wrongs it has done since 1947 to them. It would be the clearest, sincerest U-turn to tell the Sikhs we are with you and of you and not against you.
