CHANDIGARH, Punjab—News of a meeting between the senior leadership of the Aam Admi Party and Navjot Singh Sidhu has surfaced in mainstream media outlets in India.
Information available from reliable sources reveals that AAP was excited to capture BJP’s activist Navjot Singh Sidhu, who is feeling exploited in the Akali-BJP’s alliance within Punjab.
On being contacted by ‘Sikh24’, the State Incharge of AAP in Punjab, Sri Sanjay Singh, and State Convener Sucha Singh Chhotepur both denied the information. But the two said that inclusion of any renowned personality in the party is in hands of core leadership and they would warmly welcome everyone joining their struggle to terminate the hooliganism of the Akali-BJP alliance in Punjab.
