TARN TARAN, Punjab—In a repeat of his age old tricks, Akali Dal’s patron Parkash Badal has again started efforts in trying to polarize Sikh vote banks towards his party.
In a stone-laying ceremony of a Police station at Tarn Taran, Chief Minister Parkash Badal said that it was a well-known fact that the heinous crime of genocide of Sikhs in Delhi during 1984 was planned and executed by Congress.
Terming the Sikh genocide of 1984 as a blot on the history of Indian politics, Parkash Badal added that instead of delivering justice to the victims of Sikh genocide, the Congress party honored perpetrators of this barbaric act with coveted positions.
Claiming the Shiromani Akali Dal (Badal) as the sole custodian of rights of the Sikhs, Parkash Badal said that his party made every possible effort to avail justice to the victims of this barbaric time. He added that his party taken up the issue with the Union Minister several times for deliverance of justice to the victim families. He even said that his party was duty bound to have perpetrators of Sikh genocide punished for their sins.
We want Justice NOW. Sikhs are needed to defeat ISIS and the imminent Caliphate sweeping the World.
I suggest we put the RSS into the front line to fight ISIS as they have uniforms but no battle experience or proven courage and we don’t want them to run away like the Iraqi army

Pursuit of Justice is a goal which is independent of individuals/Government/Nations involved .
31+ years appeals for justice is not long enough for you? You want that suffering to carry on until all the victims (legal complainants) have passed away so when their petition is finally admitted to the court there i no case to answer because even the accused had died in their old age. That kind of confidence trick only works on the subservient minded so cannot be used on the Sikhs. We are not appealing for justice, we are demanding it.

How long RSS Harinder do you think Sikhs should wait for justice? 31+ years is not long enough for you? The day the very last Sikh victim of 1984 passes away will mean there will be no chance of healing that wound in the Sikh psyche or history. What a shame it is you are calling for Sikhs to seek justice in the courts of the world when the responsibility lies with courts of India to finally recognise the genocide done in the State’s name against its Sikh citizens. I agree however that the perpetrators even if found guilty in India should be sent to the Hague Court for crimes against humanity as there is no way India will hang them as they deserve but at least the Indian media will be forced to hold them for their crimes to the Indian population who are kept so ignorant of the enormity of the crimes committed.

In the 30 years, he has been in power many a times, what he do then? If nothing he could do during those times when he had an opportunity to do it, it is a stupidity to expect that he would do it now. And it is a greater stupidity on his part to be thinking that nobody knows this fact. Politics indeed makes you shameless enough to show your face and be lying to those whom you know that you deserve a left and a right from.
Respected CM PS Badal should work toward justice for the victims of 1984 Genocide.
Rather all CM of Punjab should work for it.
We all know who Badal is ‘respected’ by – certainly not the Sikhs! A Chief Minister who has enriched his family’s fortunes to staggering amounts with alleged monopolies, patronage and concerns of drug trafficking whilst the Punjab has become ever more polluted, its youth drug addicted, its female babies more likely to be infantised etc.
So called Respected CM has his son as deputy cm, his son in law as minister, his sons brother in law as minister, his daughter in law as Union minister…and many more of relatives in chairmanships, and people who thinks that he is well wisher of Sikhs, are mentally retarded or some one who is benefiting from his corruption.
Historically Sikhs get main ministry in union government either finance/home/foreign and he even compromised on it without raising hue and cry for his daughter in law to become minister.
Badal can say whatever he wants now, his downfall is imminent.
Badal obviously never read the story of the boy who cried, “Wolf!”
