CHANDIGARH, Punjab—Recent interview of notorious cat turned Punjab police cop Gurmeet Pinky by Journalist Kanwar Sandhu has sparked a hot debate across the world over Punjab police’s inhumane activities.  A scripted version of this interview has been made available by many mainstream media outlets.  In this interview Gurmeet Pinky has made major revelations of fake encounters of Sikh youth by the Punjab police during militancy period.  These revelations might prove fatal for the Police contingents that are still on the payroll of the Punjab police.

Gurmeet Pinky has stated that while serving in Ludhiana and Bathinda, recently retired Director General of Punjab Police Sumedh Saini killed many Sikh youth in fake encounters. Namely, Prof. Rajinder Pal Singh Bulara and Bhai Sher Singh Shera were killed in extra judicial encounters by Sumedh Saini while serving in Ludhiana. He has also stated that non-hardcore freedom fighter Pinka Mohali was also shot dead by Sumedh Saini after inhumane torture and shooting at point blank range. He said that Pinka was forced to engulf cyanide and pesticides by Saini but the two failed to prove fatal.  Following this, Saini lost his temper and fired a bullet at his forehead.

Gurmeet Pinky further explained that when Sumedh Saini had received a threat from the Babbar Khalsa, upon mere suspicion being on Bhai Balwinder Singh Jattana, Sumedh Saini assassinated his family members.  Pinky quoted that Ajit Phoola was hired by the police to eliminate Sikh militants.

Beside this, Gurmeet Pinky has also alleged that he paid 5,000,000 Rupees to a police officer named Amandeep Skoda for his reinstatement as an Inspector.

It may be recalled that Pinky was reinstated as Head Constable in Punjab police on May 16, 2015, but the move was reversed by the government on May 30, 2015, after sharp criticism by state-wide Sikh organizations.

  1. Regaining our independence is the only answer, everything else is just an invitation to be abused again. Harinder posts on all these sites, but does not have guts to use his real name. He us just an rss bitch..

I m sure you either live in America or Canada. Do you know the history of those countries? They were not countries till few years before India got freedom in 1947. Religion can’t run any country, democracy can. Religion based political system in any country can distroye it, because of the intolerance of others faith. India has problems but which country in the world doesn’t. The most safe and powerful country in the world is America doesn’t America has problems? Please do not follow as sheep. Dumbing down society is bad. Over throw Punjab government democraticly. If you try by other means then get out of America or Canada because they are democracy as well or try to ask for a peace of land there. Let’s see how well that will go. Have a blessed day. May God let you see beyond your hate.

    • VeerJat84 (suspicious nom de plume that should alert readers) you don’t seem to know the history of India when you say America and Canada only got their freedom a few years before India got freedom in 1947. India as a state was created in 1947 but only actually practically existed as a unified country when the British East India Company annexed the Sikh Empire (the kingdom of Maharajah Ranjit Singh which encompassed all of Punjab, Jammu, Kashmir and most of what today is called Pakistan and was a largely secular state as the Sikh Maharajah insisted on meritocratic rule with Hindus and Muslims prominent in his Government). Even the Moghuls did not rule all of the Indian subcontinent so you cannot say India existed before the British conquest. America got its freedom from Britain (a democratic state which ‘legitimately’ (if you excuse the conquest of Native American lands) ruled most of the America) in a revolt. I am not calling for a theocratic state which is why I am so opposed to the intolerant policies of the RSS – rather I want the promise of India – a secular state that respects all of its peoples – to be fully realised because so much Sikh blood has been spilled to found (my family suffered in the partition) and sustain it (my uncles lost limbs and eyes in the wars against Pakistan). You accuse me of being a foreigner and having no right to criticise the abuses of power going on in the Punjab which is the homeland of Sikhs. I tell you I am a true patriot because I am not willing to be a sheep and just meekly accept nothing can change for the better and that we must just put up with the tainted democracy being afforded to us. I want India to realise its true potential – the same that Bhagat Singh and Udham Singh gave up their lives for – and be truly accountable to its people. That means no more state sponsored discrimination and terror against its minorities in particular and addressing the injustices inflicted on the Sikhs from 1984 onwards. What is wrong with that? The democratic system in India needs to be reformed or are you content for dynastic families to continue ruling generation after generation not through merit but because of an accident of birth? The anti Sikh pogrom in 1984 is the direct consequence of dynastic rule where effectively a son’s vengeance was exacted on thousands of innocent Sikhs and endorsed by the apparatchiks of the State because patronage I am a son of India and have no interest in trying to mend the ways of the Americans or Canadians I want to fix the problems of my Sikh homeland, the Punjab. That can be done with proper democracy – a free press, unfiltered access to the internet, informed debate, public rallies, a campaign against corruption, nepotism and patronage, educating the masses so that they can make informed decisions when placing their votes, a guarantee of human rights and ensuring the law punishes those who engage in fake encounters, kidnapping, torture and extra judicial killings. What is wrong with any of these things? Only those who want to maintain the status quo would oppose them and you know where that leads – the mass murder of innocents (and they are our Indian brothers and sisters too if you are not prepared to look upon them as deserving life and liberty simply because they are human beings) for the sake of a political elite. I don’t hate India, I love India, that is why I am prepared to stand up and defend what she is supposed to be, not what she has become – it could be the greatest country on the earth if Indians were ready to take the founding father’s words at heart – be the change that you want to see. It is the moral duty of every Indian to demand that India be the best she can be, not just simply accept the worst – that is how she was founded by Sikhs, Muslims and Hindus up to Independence.

    • The law of a country especially one claiming to be democratic must if it is to be obeyed provide justice. Those poor Sikh victims of the pogroms of 1984 have been law abiding for more than thirty years – have they received justice ‘Harinder’? Or should they continue to suffer in silence in order not to upset you? It is the duty of every citizen in India to stand up against injustice no matter who it is inflicted upon otherwise you are nothing more than a slave in your own land. This notion of ‘knowing your place’, ‘keeping your head down’ is alien to the Sikh psyche and RSS apologists like you are doing the democracy of India a grave and quite frankly traitorous disservice.

      • 1984 is a self inflicted wound done by Sikhs themselves .

It would have never happened if we had some Smart Leaders in Punjab and India in 1980 -1990.

We will not allow power into hand of people who will take us back to those like days.

      • ‘a self inflicted wound done by the Sikhs themselves’ – at last you reveal yourself for what you are really are. The Sikhs butchered in the streets of Delhi by the thousands have no one but themselves to blame because they were Sikhs and deserved it so their suffering and continued injustice done to them doesn’t count. The thousands disappeared without trial in the Punjab, tortured and murdered in extra judicial killings all acceptable. Despicable. Exactly why you RSS scumbags need to be stopped.

      • Bhinderwla Followers went on a mindless Killings of Non Sikhs for some unknown reasons.
We will now never allow power in hands of people who have a

        1) Communal agenda
        2) Anti National agenda

    • How can a democratic regime be tyrannical? Have you not heard of Nazi Germany? Hitler didn’t take over his country the beloved fatherland by brute force although he tried that with a violent uprising in Munich in the twenties which failed. He resorted to presenting a civil face to the electorate and steadily won more and more votes to the Reichstaad (Germany Parliament) until he was in a position to usurp the democratic system that he despised. Once he’d got his hands on the levers of power through democratic means he was able to present himself to the world as the legitimate representative of the German people and pass laws such as the Nuremburg anti-Jewish laws that led to discrimination and violence against German Jews. India was a democratic country when it as a State actively sponsored an anti Sikh pogrom in 1984 in its very capitol city and protected those murderers for over thirty years. Indian democracy is as frail as German democracy was during that post Weimer Republic period which allowed Hitler’s National Socialists to acquire seat after seat following election after election in that its democracy is dominated by a massively uneducated populous which is kept that way by parties (come political and some religious) who rely upon illiteracy and communal prejudice to keep their vote banks well stocked. I have personally seen people seeking elected office effectively bribing voters by offering them cash folded in palm leaves as they moved along a line. You know full well that democracy in India is undermined by corruption, nepotism and patronage on a wide scale. You yourself have again and again on these posts insinuated that Sikhs should keep quiet and not raise their voices in opposition – that is not democracy when the country is afraid of its own people and it sown people live in fear of what the ‘democratic’ State is prepared to sanction (fake encounters, extra judicial killings etc). Winston Churchill said democracy is the least worst option of civil governance so it is not a panacea which tyrants can hide behind whilst they perpetrate abuses against their peoples. There is also the question of oppression caused by the will of the majority upon the minority when it comes to democracy in India which is why it was set up with a secular constitution as otherwise the majority religion in the subcontinent (Hinduism) would always prevail against other minority interests (such as those of the Sikhs, the Muslims and Christians of late).

      • I find it absurd that you are calling the self rule of People of Punjab by Punjab government as Tyrannical .
The Government of Punjab is working its best for the well being and prosperity for all its citizens.
It does not resemble in any way the British Empire or Mughal Empire .No Beheadings or Jalliawalla like incidence have taken place .

By the way do you suffer from

        “PERECEUTORY DELUSIONS”

or are you a agent of Empire trying a

        “REGIME CHANGE”.

IF you desire any regime change I suggest you to try your luck in 2017 elections through a

        “BALLOT BOX”

      • ‘Harinder’ (not his real name) is a RSS troll who believes in kidnapping, torture, fake encounters, extra judicial killings against Sikhs. Again and again he posts on these website to try and keep Sikhs bowed down and accepting of injustices and abuses done against them. ‘All is fair in love and war’ and ‘we were only following orders’ was the defence Nazi SS used in their trials at Nuremburg to defend their human rights abuses and atrocities against people they felt were undesirables and enemies of the State as well as partisans. This defence that you are still extolling (and well you might as you ‘Harinder’ are a self confessed member of the RSS which is modelled on Hitler’s SS) was rejected and those ‘defenders of the fatherland’ were found guilt of having committed crimes against humanity. I have explained to ‘Harinder’ and other human rights violation and genocide apologists again and again why such a stance is indefensible and actually treasonable against the ideals of India but their mission is not to debate (as ‘Harinder’ will never answer any of the responses I give to his leading questions nor answer questions I put to him based on historical fact) but rather persists with trying to castrate the Sikh psyche in wishing to resist tyranny and Indira Gandhi was a tyrant. She was found guilty of fraud by an Indian Court but rather than protest her innocence legally she illegally declared a state of emergency and imprisoned political opponents and neutered the news media and engaged in anti social campaigns against the Indian populace such as forced sterilisation (which disproportionately targeted the poor particularly the so-called untouchable class in Hindu society. Her image was so badly damaged and the political resistance to her was notably great from Punjab so she engineered a confrontation with the Sikhs in order to prove to the Indian electorate that she was still a strong leader in the run up to general elections. She then committed effectively an act of treason by going cap in hand to the former imperialist power Britain (who shaheeds Bhagat Singh and Udham Singh had given their lives fighting against) and asking for military assistance to plan an armed assault on the Darbar Sahib! The British PM Margaret Thatcher – keen to put through the sale of a defunct British aircraft carrier HMS Ark Royal to India – was more than happy to help and dispatched a SAS (elite special forces) Major to India to plan such an assault in January 1984 – a full six months before the attack. This plan was not in the end used but the point is Indira Gandhi asked a foreign former imperialist Government to help plan the killing of Indian citizens on Indian soil – this is beyond dispute as luckily the British have a 30 year policy of revealing cabinet documents. ‘Harinder’ (I know you are not a Sikh so asking you to have the courage of your convictions and actually post under your real name won’t work) persists in presenting Bhindranwale as a bogeyman when he was really a marginal figure who was made into a shaheed of the Sikh Quam by being martryed – if there really was a need to arrest him why was he arrested and then released beforehand and why not the Darbar Sahib surrounded by Sikh soldiers (who were in actuality largely confined to barracks) and its water and electricity cut off and the thousands of pilgrims visiting the Darbar Sahib that day allowed to leave? As a direct consequence of the illegal polices of the State towards SIkhs in the Punjab with kidnapping, false arrest, harassment of relatives, fake encounters, torture, rapes, extra judicial killings (just see what one of the men who did these things admits to – Gurmeet Pinky) compare what has happened to the Punjab from 1980 to present day. Back then Punjab was bread basket of India now it is on the verge of bankruptcy (whilst its BJP stooges the Badals have engorged and enriched themselves to the point where they are running out of Swiss banks to deposit their spoils from monopolies, patronage and alleged involvement in drug trafficking), its ground water is heavily polluted (not just by pesticides but by uranium when the PUnjab does not even possess a single nuclear power plant) which correlates with a proportional rise in both infant mortality, genetic abnormalities and disabilities in newborns, the State has the highest rate both of female infanticide and drug addiction in India (the latter is particularly galling when you consider the border with Pakistan is the most heavily defended) and to top it all Sikh scriptures are being torn in the streets of the Sikh homeland and when Sikhs protest they are in turn shot dead by police officers who are in turn absolved of any culpability. Not to mention the massive migration of Sikh youth out of the country. None of these things were happening in Punjab up to 1984. ‘Harinder’ your racist bigotry towards the Sikhs revealed in your complacent defence of the indefencible reveals that you and your RSS minded are traitors to India – there is no way its greatest, foremost Shaheeds Bhagat SIngh and Udham Singh would have given up their lives for what you stand for.

  3. States are powerful machine like entities supported by law, Police and Army .

They become emboldened if they have the backing of a members of “The Empire” (5 Permanent member of Security Council) .

So don’t get into a confrontation with any state and don’t break laws or pick up Guns against states .

Human life is just a number and statistics and a chapters in history for “States and Empires”.

Also don’t fall into the Traps and provocation by “States and Empires”. .It can bring upon communities wars and genocides .

Respect and beware of “EMPIRE “and “STATES”

    • As usual ‘Harinder’ (not his real name) you are talking wacky nonsense. You really should not use the internet when you are drunk. You are trying to tell Sikhs not to oppose tyrannical Governments (completely contrary to Guru Gobind Singh’s teachings and in stark contrast to the history of the Sikhs in opposing both Moghul and British repression) – how the hell do you think the State of India (formed in 1947) came into being? Perhaps you wish to condemn India’s foremost Shaheeds (both Punjabi Sikhs in Bhagat Singh and Udham Singh) for violently opposing British rule and tell us they should have just kept quiet with their heads down? Fortunately for you ‘Harinder RSS’, Sikhs have had their hearts forged by the Khalsa and can never be expected to crawl on their bellies. Stop blaming oppression on other countries and look closer to home because if you say nothing when they come for others then there will be no-one left to speak up for you when they finally come for you. Lions roar by nature as do the Singhs, donkeys bray as does the RSS (who played zero role in creating India as they kept quiet with their heads bowed down).
