AMRITSAR SAHIB, Punjab—Sangata at Akal Takht Sahib, Amritsar have turned up in droves to welcome the new acting Jathedar Bhai Dhian Singh Mand (in the absence of Jathedar Jagtar Singh Hawara).
The ex-Jathedar attempted to speak to the congregation but was completely drowned out by all the sangat members who refuse to allow him to address them.
Acting Jathedar Dhian Singh Mand, appointed yesterday by the Sarbat Khalsa, presented himself before the sangat, who then erupted in jakaras (victory cries).

Harinder, Your voice of reason will not be heard. Bandal is a fool and needs to be brought to right. But the recent events concerning the desecration of our Guruji should be dealt with. But lets make one thing clear. It is the interests of bad “neighbours” to spoil the peace in your house.

Look at Jathedar’s….why did they give forgiveness to dera sadh……because they odn’t know the fundamentals of Sikhism,,,,,,,,,they should resign………but then how will they get big-bucks and power …….why they have their sons working as PA’s ………why do they need security…….they are SEVADAR of panth…..did they do any missionary work for Sikhism….no …never……..only thing they did how to take away from Gurdwara Sahib……..how to suck Badal………sounds like you are also getting a piece of pie….. that’s why you are so blind…..
but we are not blind or dumb…..we can see and have the ability to make a change that you will see in 2017………..stop making people fool……keep your BS for yourself and for Badal kute lai…
We need a honest, courageous and straight forward person who can help Sikhism as well as our community to make peoples like better by removing all the drugs from our society and start a missionary work to expand Sikh – Religion through out the work, get all the Sikh Panth under on umbrella even people like Harinder …….Sikh Panth is a common panth…..there is no cast……everybody is equal.
My advise is that don’t mess with State and its security apparatus.
Punjab can evolve into a Police state with sad consequences.
Mughals were very different from Badals .
You have one option and that is Ballot boxes.
Individuals come and go in life .
Let us not disrespect our Institutions of CM , Jathedar of Akal Takth etc etc.
If we don’t respect them who shall respect it .
We can’t use the Ballot Box you fool. The SGPC elections are under the control of the Badals thus sgpc elections will not happen anytime soon. Harinder please get educated on basic Sikh procedure.
If you want a change then please use the Ballot Box to see the change you desire.
We want Good and capable leaders to lead us to a bright future .
Don’t use anarchy and Violence to pursue your Goals for a brighter Future for all of us.
I have nothing to gain from Honorable CM Mr PS Badal .
He gets the respect because he is the CM we choose.
If you become the CM tomorrow we will give you equal amount of respect and love.

I been noticing all your posts are in support of Badal dal, seems like you must have benefited from the corruption done by badal, thats why you dont care for the plight of ordinary sikh. How else you can explain going to each news article on this website, and writing stuff which dont make sense. How can you justify badals, and corrupt ex jathedars. Its disrespect which have invited themselves among them by being puppets of badal. How can you not see how much people are unhappy, it cant be for one reason, people are very unhappy, and if badals resigns and let other good leaders take over akali dal, this might help to heal but ofcourse you wont support it.
