FARIDKOT, Punjab—Punjab Police is facing major embarrassment as it has failed to present any evidence against Rupinder Singh and his brother Jaswinder Singh in case of sacrilege of Guru Granth Sahib held at Bargadi village. Having failed at presenting any proof, the police has now resorted to lie detection exams to buy more time to keep the brothers under custody.

Sikh24 has learned from internal sources that the Punjab government was discussing over their release; however two senior officials of the Police stopped it from doing so arguing that both brothers had been arrested on basis of evidences.  They have asked the Government to provide more time so lie detection exams could be conducted.

After being convinced by these officials, Punjab government has now decided to seek permission for the test from the court.

Meanwhile father of arrested youth  Darshan Singh alleged that his innocent sons are being harassed by the Police and they had been framed into false cases.

On Wednesday, Shiromani Akali Dal (Amritsar) leaders Jaskaran Singh Kahansingh wala, Surjit Singh Khalsa and others submitted memorandum to the Faridkot deputy commissioner Malwinder Singh Jaggi seeking withdrawal of cases against the brothers.  The memorandum has also been sent to the Supreme court chief justice, Punjab and Haryana High court chief justice, Human rights Commission and minorities commission.

  1. A polygraph, popularly referred to as a lie detector, measures and records several physiological indices such as blood pressure, pulse, respiration, and skin conductivity it doesn’t prove a lie. Also they need to take into consideration the condition of my brothers the immense toture they have received from the police already. Even they know these two Singh are innocent so stop wasting time and go arrest the real culprits and it’s clear they have done it because they had pre warned Sikhs they was going to do it leaving them with the challenge of “hide n seek” how low can u stoop.

  2. If they are guilty than they should be punished If they are innocent thy should be free. I could not understand what kind of sympathy.

  3. These police lies will not escape the Court of the Mighty Lord Waheguru . Highest respect to those who are fighting for their release. My heart felt sympathy with the family of Rupinder Singh and Jaswinder Singh. Punjab Police and Badal Government know they are innocent….. trying to wriggle out of this conspiracy……

LONG LIVE RUPINDER SINGH & JASWINDER SINGH!!!
