CHANDIGARH, Punjab—Sikh24 has learnt that Bapu Surat Singh Khalsa is facing skin related problems due to lack of care being provided by the PGI Chandigarh medical staff. Bapu Surat Singh Khalsa was admitted here forcibly as his health had deteriorated.
Bhai Ravinder Jeet Singh Gogi finally had a chance to meet with his father today. He told Sikh24 that Bapu Ji is feeling better, and is able to speak in a very low tone. He told Sikh24 that Bapu Ji has some skin infection, which may grow if not given proper attention.
Bhai Gogi said that he was allowed to meet Bapu Surat Singh on SSP Mohali’s recommendation on the condition of not discussing anything political. He added that Bapu Ji wanted to deliver his message orally but the police contingents deployed around him didn’t allow him to do so.
Bapu Surat Singh Khalsa was admitted in the Advanced Cardiac Department at the PGI Chandigarh on September 27 by the police contingents led by SSP Ravcharan Brar. As Bhai Ravinder Jeet Singh Gogi disagreed to his father being force fed, the administration had isolated Bapu Ji from him.
