New York, USA—USA unit of Shiromani Akali Dal (Amritsar) staged protest against Modi outside UNO office in New York. Modi was here to address a gathering at a seminar. The protesters under the patronage of S. Surjit Singh Kalhar (President, Shiromani Akali Dal (USA)) and Spokesperson S. Sarabjit Singh New York shouted pro-Khalistan and anti-Modi slogans on this occasion. The protesters termed Modi as ‘Hitler of India’ in their slogans.
Talking to ‘Sikh24’, S. Sarabjit Singh New York (Media Advisor, Shiromani Akali Dal (Amritsar)) said that they had been making every possible effort to apprise UNO with the injustices being delivered to Sikhs in India.
Bhai Amandeep Singh (President, Youth Akali Dal Amritsar) it is very unfortunate for us that we don’t have any representatives to acquaint UNO with the genocide of Sikhs performed in India. He said that while all the independent nations from of world are representing their nations in UNO, the Sikhs are just seeking justice by shouting slogans for the injustices delivered to them in India.
