SGPC to start Kar Sewa of Gurdwara Kartarpur Sahib (Pakistan) on Sep 22

AMRITSAR SAHIB, Punjab—Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) president Avtar Singh Makkar today said that Kar Sewa of historical Sikh shrine Gurdwara Karparpur Sahib Narowal (Pakistan) will be starting on September 22, Joti Jot Diwas (passing) of Guru Nanak Dev Jee.

Talking to media persons, Makkar said that they are thankful to Pakistan Sikh Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (PSGPC) president Baba Sham Singh, Pakistan authorities and legislature Ramesh Singh Arora for giving Sewa.

He said a high level delegation of the SGPC would leave for Pakistan within few days to chalk out a plan for kar sewa. The delegation will include executive committee members, the chief secretary and other senior dignitaries of the body.
