Giani Gurbachan Singh has said that he�fully supports the�struggle and is attempting to move the State Government to take up the issue. He said that it would be unfortunate if Bapu Surat Singh Khalsa passed away while struggling. �Sikh24 asked if he would consider Bapu Ji as a martyr if he does pass away, however Jathedar said that right now it’s important to work towards reaching the goal of release of Sikh prisoners.
Jathedar stated that all those prisoners who have served mandatory terms of their life sentences hold the right to be�released. He added that he is making efforts at his best to ensure release of political Sikh prisoners.
