SYF Bhindranwale Condemns Embedded Journalism in India

2015-06-03_syfbAMRITSAR SAHIB, Punjab—In a press note shared with Sikh24, Vice President of Sikh Youth Federation Bhindranwala Bhai Ranjit Singh has expressed determination towards the achievement of a sovereign Sikh state.  He lashed out at embedded journalism in India, which he termed responsible for presenting Sikh issues in a negative light.

“We are not just looking for justice, but our fight is for self-determination,” he stated, adding that, “the Sikh Youth Federation Bhindranwala has distributed 20,000 copies of the book named ‘Khalsa Inqlab’ (Khalsa Revolution) among Sikh sangat. It is notable that the book ‘Khalsa Inqlab’ comprises of articles by various Sikh activists like Simranjit Singh Mann, S. Bijla Singh and others.

Bhai Ranjit Singh maintained that the SYF Bhindranwale is committed towards defending the Sikh. “Government’s attempt to degrade our spirit by arresting and leveling false charges against us will go in vain,” he added while condemning the release of Sikh activists in Punjab recently.
