Convicted Murderer Bibi Jagir Moves High Court Seeking Permission to Visit North America

:dateline:Senior Akali leader and former SGPC President Bibi Jagir “Kaur” has filed an application with the Punjab and Haryana High Court seeking permission to visit the USA and Canada. �Bibi Jagir is the MLA from�Bholath constituency.

Her passport was confiscated due to her involvement in the murder case of her own daughter in year 2000. �She is currently out on bail. �Bibi has been charged with multiple crimes, including forcible abortion of her daughter’s child, abduction, and conspiring to murder her daughter.

Bibi Jagir has filed a petition in the High Court alleging that she wants to visit USA and Canada for three weeks to speak with supporters there. �She would part of a special Akali delegation that plans to hold meetings in the West to seek support for the elections in 2017. �She would accompany leaders like Manjit Singh GK, Manjinder Sirsa, Virsa S Valtoha and others.
