Sikh Organizations Honour Victims of Police Attack in Jammu

GURDASPUR, Punjab—Following the Antim Ardas program of Shaheed Bhai Jashjeet Singh Jammu, Shiromani Akali Dal Amritsar and Sikh Youth Front honoured the victim Singhs of Jammu firing incident.  These Singhs were presented mementos of Sant Jarnail Singh Ji Khalsa Bhindranwale and siropao by Sikh activists.

Appreciating the Sikh spirit of injured Singhs, General Secretary of Sikh Youth Front S. Papalpreet Singh said that the youth had erected an example with fearless demonstration against state for tearing posters of Sant Jarnail Singh Ji Khalsa Bhindranwale. He said that the state puppets will hesitate hundreds of time while daring to disrespect role model of Sikhs again.

Shaheed Bhai Jashjeet Singh Jammu was martyred with bullets fired by Jammu police during a peaceful protest. Four other Sikh youth were injured in the firing.  They were given medical treatment at Hardas Hospital of Amritsar. S. Navdeep Singh of SADA with the help USA unit of SADA headed by S. Surjit Singh Kalhar provided monetary support for the medical treatment.  

Bhai Jashjeet Singh’s Antim Ardas was performed today at his village Chohala of Jammu. Shiromani Akali Dal Amritsar honoured the family of Shaheed Bhai Jashjeet Singh with gold medal.

Dr. Sharanjit Singh Rataul, S. Ranjit Singh Amritsar, S. Navdeep Singh, Bhai Dilbag Singh Nagoke, Bhai Simranjit Singh Jammu, etc. were present on this occasion.
