NEW DELHI—To mark the 350th foundation anniversary of Sri Anandpur Sahib, historical Nagar Kirtan by Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee today departed for Sri Anandpur Sahib from Gurdwara Sri Raqab Ganj Sahib. Sikh masses in huge count in buses and other vehicles were part of the nagar kirtan that departed from for Sri Anandpur Sahib.
President of Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee, Manjit Singh GK declared this Nagar Kirtan as a historical visit. He added that the DSGMC would keep on continuing its efforts to organize such programs. He also acquainted the Sikh sangat with his efforts in past to mark ‘Delhi Fateh Divas’. Manjit Singh GK said that by observing annual and centennial anniversaries of our historical events, we can easily inspire the next generations to get attached to Sikh traditions.
The Nagar Kirtan will conclude at Takht Sri Kesgarh Sahib after traversing Gurdwara Shaheed Baba Deep Singh Ji in Kurali in first phase, Gurdwara Bhatha Sahib in second phase on the way.
