Sirsa Cult Chief Appears in CBI Court For Murder and Rape Case

2013-07-30-ramrahim5PANCHKULA, Haryana—Special CBI court of Panchkula held a hearing over the Saadhvi sex abuse and Ranjit Patrakar murder case in which the accused Sirsa Cult chief appeared before the court via video conferencing.

It is notable that Sirsa Cult chief is facing charges in raping a woman cult follower, murder of Manager Ranjit Singh of cult and a journalist.

Defence presented three witnesses (Rishal Singh, Dharam Singh and Gurdial Singh) in the rape case and urged the court for medical treatment of the victim from a private hospital. CBI will file its reply to the defence in the next hearing.

The court also recorded three witnesses in case of Manager Ranjit Singh and Journalist Chhatarpati. Despite the strict security arrangements by the police, the cult followers blocked the way to court on Barnala Road. Information from reliable sources reveals that the next hearing will be held on June 6.
