TARN TARAN SAHIB, Punjab—Sikh Youth Front has expressed deep grief over the sudden demise of Bapu Tarlok Singh (father of Shaheed Bhai Satwant Singh).
General Secretary of Sikh Youth Front, S. Papalpreet Singh stated in a written statement that the intrepid stand of Bapu Tarlok Singh in favor of his son’s stand on punishing the culprrits of 1984 Darbar Sahib army invasion will always remain fresh in Sikh circles. He added that the Sikh nation will forever be indebted to Bapu Tarlok Singh’s sacrifice which couldn’t be repaid at any cost.
It is notable that Bapu Tarlok Singh passed away yesterday at Fortis Escorts Hospital where he was under medical treatment. His body is likely to be cremated on May 12 at his village Agwan. Sikh Youth Front has appealed the entire Sikh Nation to reach village Agwan on May 12 to pay homage to Bapu Tarlok Singh.
