TURLOCK, California, USA—Sikh24 is sharing the complete video of the debate with Sarbjeet Dhunda from this past week at Gurdwara Sahib, Turlock, California. Dhunda very cleverly avoided answering simple questions. He refused to accept the idea that after-life exists and that there is benefit to doing naam simran for our life after. This is a concept that is referred by Gurbani repeatedly.
Dhunda also acknowledged that many historical references in Guru Granth Sahib Ji are not based upon facts and many ideas “just cannot be true”. This is a dangerous trend, as today people are refuting historical references, tomorrow they may ask for such shabads to be removed completely, as it has been done in past as well.
Dhunda also refused to accept that recital of bani by Guru Gobind Singh Ji is acceptable. It is important to mention that Dhunda has been summoned at Akal Takht Sahib for the very reason. In past, he used derogatory terms for the holiest Sikh shrine as it allowed kirtan of all parts of Sri Dasam Granth.

Most of the brothers who asked questions already had their view ready to tell bhai sarabjit singh ji that he is wrong, so for first few questions showed him that what type of questions he was gonna deal with so its obvious when you don’t wanna ask question to listen an answer .. there’s no point answering ..
I think he is either Marxist or anti hindu Khalistini
This is not a way to discuss anything with questions yes or no. Always open ended questions are good to express things.
After watching the interview. I do have more respect for Bhai Sarbjit Singh and the Sikhs that questioned him. I do not agree with Sarbjit Singh point of view on the interpretation of Gurbani but he is very brave to take on Q and A week after week. At the beginning Bhai Sahib was more defensive then started opening up about 15 minutes into the Q@A. I think Turlock Sikh showed lots of respect except how it ended. If they have to go, they have to go! Don’t pull someone’s arm trying to start trouble.
ਬੇਨਤੀ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਸਾਡੇ ਸਵਾਲ ਵੀ ਪੂਰੇ ਸਪੱਸ਼ਟ ਨਹੀਂ ਹਨ । ਅਗੋਂ ਭਾਈ ਸਰਬਜੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਵੀ ਪੂਰਾ ਸੁਆਲ ਸੁਣਨ ਤੋਂ ਬਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਹੀ ਜੁਆਬ ਦੇਣਾਂ ਸੁਰੂ ਕਰ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਫਿਰ ਵੀ ਇਹ ਬਹਿਸ ਮੁੱਕਣ ਵਾਲੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਦਾ ਮੁੱਖ ਕਾਰਨ ਦਾਸ ਇਹ ਸਮਝਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਸਭ ਕੁਝ ਤਾਂ ਹੋ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਸਿੱਖ ਕੌਮ ਕੋਲ ਸਹੀ (ਗੁਰਮਤ) ਢੰਗ ਨਾਲ ਯੋਗ ਲੀਡਰਸਿੱਪ ਚੁਗੀ ਹੋਈ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ। ਜਦ ਉਪਰੋਂ ਹੀ ਕੋਈ ਮਸਲੇ ਦੀ ਸਹੀ ਸੇਧ ਨ੍ਹਹੀਂ ਮਿਲਦੀ ਤਾਂ ਅਸੀਂ ਥਲੇ ਵਾਲੇ ਐਵੇਂ ਹੀ ਲੜੀ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਾਂ। ਸੋ ਮੇਰੇ ਵਿਚਾਰ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਆਪਣਾ ਸਾਰਾ ਸਿਸ਼ਟਮ ਠੀਕ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਜਲਦੀ ਤੋਂ ਜਲਦੀ ਸਰਬੱਤ ਖ਼ਾਲਸਾ ਸੱਦ ਕੇ ਆਪਣਾ ਸਾਰਾ ਸਿਸ਼ਟਮ ਗੁਰਮਤ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਲਿਖਤ ਵਿਚ ਕਰਨ ਦੇ ਯੱਤਨ ਕਰਨੇ ਚਾਹੀਦੇ ਹਨ। ਹੋਲੀ ਹੌਲੀ ਸਭ ਕੁਝ ਠੀਕ ਹੋ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ ਸਾਡੀਆਂ ਅਗਲੀਆਂ ਪੀੜੀਆਂ ਲਈ। ਧੰਨਵਾਦ ਜੀ।
