Sikh Leader from Aam Aadmi Party (India) Donates One Month’s Salary for Quake-hit People of Nepal; Asks Others To Contribute

:dateline:Aam Aadmi Party MP Harinder Singh Khalsa has announced to donate his one month salary for earthquake affected people of Nepal. �While making the announcement, he also appealed to other MPs and activists to contribute towards the relief work�in Nepal.

Khalsa has further started an initiative to collect donations from Punjab for the earthquake victims. �Through his contributions, two helpline numbers have been launched�by the AAP volunteers in Ludhiana to gather donations for the victims. He said, �the helplines numbers have being started to facilitate donations by the people to the Prime Minister’s Relief Fund.�

“People of Punjab have always extended help to victims of natural calamities and I hope that this time they will�come forward as well,” he added.
