daduwalBATHINDA, Punjab—After conciliation reached between Sikh preacher Baba Baljit Singh Daduwal and Parkash Badal led Punjab government, control of Sikh shrine Gurdwara Jandalisar Kot Shamir has been given back to former. On Saturday, on directions of Punjab cabinet minister Sikandar Singh Maluka, former district attorney Shinderpal Singh Brar handed over the keys of the Gurdwara to Baba Daduwal.

After taking over, Baba Daduwal along with aides paid obeisance at the Gurdwara. However, he denied any compromise with the government while talking to media persons. He said he took back the control of the shrine following the orders of Sangat.

While talking, Shinderpal Singh Brar said that the case was put up with Sikander Singh Maluka finding that the Gurdwara is situated on private land. In view of private land issue, Maluka allowed to give control of the Gurdwara back to Baba Daduwal.
