ANANDPUR SAHIB, Punjab—On concluding day of Sikh festival Hola Mohalla, Sri Akal Takht Sahib appointed Jathedar Giani Gurbachan Singh issued special message to Sikh nation.
In his message, Giani Gurbachan Singh said giving new shape to ‘Holy’ festival, Guru Gobind Singh launched tradition of ‘Hola Mohalla’ in order to creating new enthusiasm in the society who was victimized by external invaders.
He said every Sikh should be social worker besides being a disciplined ‘Nitnemi’. “Every Sikh should teach Gurbani to their children from the days of childhood and make them Amritdhari,” he advised.
He said Sikhs are not terrorists, but they wish well being of everyone and do social work. He said besides creating awareness among people against female infanticide, drugs and dowry system, youths should himself follow ‘Bani and Bana’. He appealed Sikh Panth to give due respect to every religion upholding respect of Sri Guru Granth Sahib.
