:dateline:SGPC President, Avtar Makkar has demanded a�railway link between Sri Anandpur Sahib and Sri Amritsar.
Talking to a Sikh24 correspondent, Makkar�said that he will write a letter to the Railway Minister Sri Suresh Prabhu as well as Parliament Members of Akali Dal to pressurize the Centre Government for approving the railway link.
Makkar�said that 350th�establishment anniversary of Sri Anandpur Sahib will be celebrated with full fervor�in May, 2015. He informed that the preparations for this are going on with full efforts and having a railway link announced by then would be appreciated by the Sikh Sangat.
