AISSF Chief Peermohammad summoned for hurling shoe at Judge of Delhi Court

PeermohammadCHANDIGARH, Punjab—Kadkadduma Court of Delhi has summoned All India Sikh Students federation (AISSF) president Bhai Karnail Singh Peermohammad in a one year old case of hurling shoe at judge of the court. Along with him, Bibi Nirpreet Kaur, a witness in 1984 Sikh genocide cases, and son of Bibi Jagdish Kaur, another witness, have also been summoned to appear before the Court.

On April 29, 2013, Bhai Peermohammad hurled shoe toward Judge Rajesh Ahir protesting against his ruling of acquitting Sajjan Kumar, one of the main accused of 1984 Sikh genocide. Peermohammad was immediately arrested by the Police and detained under section 353. On bail paid by Bibi Nirpreet Kaur and Bibi Jagdish Kaur’s son Gurdeep Singh Goldy, he was released.

Now Bibi ji and Goldy have also been summoned to appear on Jan 20 before the court. The summons were handed over to Peermohammad by Delhi Police head constable Duli Chand and constable Vipin at his residence.
