NABHA (Patiala), Punjab—A second Jatha of prisoners of the maximum security jail (Nabha) have started a hunger strike for 48 hours seeking the permanent release of Sikh detainees. It is notable that groups of 10 prisoners had started a serial hunger strike in Nabha seeking the release of Sikh prisoners.
Bhai Jagtar Singh, Bhai Deep Singh, Bhai Gurpal Singh, Bhai Sukhwinder Singh, Bhai Amarjit Singh, Bhai Pritpal Singh Prithi, Bhai Sukhkiran Singh, Bhai Tarlochan Singh, Bhai Jagjit Singh and Bhai Amarjit Singh constitute this Jatha. Advocate Jaspal Singh Manjhpur informed that this information was made available to Bibi Sukhjinder Kaur, wife of Bhai Balbir Singh Bira, who attended them in Jail.
