Baba Ranjit Singh Dhadrianwale: Sisters and Daughters, Do We Look Like Sikh Women?

**Sisters & Daughters** You Must All Watch! (Sant Dhadrianwale)
Watch this video on YouTube.

For hundreds of years, since the Guru’s revealed the truth, through the times of the British Empire rule in India, right up until the period following the 1984 Sikh genocide, it was others who persecuted the Sikhs in order to destroy the dastaar Sikh turban).

Sikh women accepted martyrdom but did not let their chuni (women’s head scarf) come off of their head. The spirit of Sikhs did not falter to fit in with a temporary time-bound culture. Now, in the present age, we ourselves are cutting our hair and disowning our dastaar. Who is to blame when it is our own Sikh daughters and sisters who are misguidedly altering their image, becoming unrecognisable from other cultures?

The natural image instilled into the Sikh form is eternally fashionable, whereas the fashion perceived by evolving societies becomes outdated with each passing day. There can be no mistake that the one who adorns the majestic crown gifted by the incomparable Guru Gobind Singh Ji will outshine any other in beauty and radiance. A Sikh must never let their head be uncovered. Our brothers, sons, sisters and daughters should proudly adorn the dastaar. At the very least, no Sikh woman should ever let their chuni come off their head at any cost. The sons and daughters of Guru Gobind Singh Ji do not fit into an image of uncovered heads in pubs, clubs and party halls.

In this video, Baba Ranjit Singh Khalsa Dhadrianwale fearlessly tells the facts as they should be told. The live recording clip is from the Panthik Diwaan that took place on 19th September 2014, organised by the Parmeshar Dwar Gurmat Parchar Mission in the Doaba region of Punjab within Jalandhar city’s Kartarpur town. Sitting within the Sangat was Sathkaarjog Bapu Tarlok Singh Ji, father of the great martyr, warrior Shaheed Bhai Satwant Singh Ji.
