MANSA, Punjab—Decision on the bail plea of noted Sikh preacher Baba Baljit Singh Daduwal is slated to be announced tomorrow, September 29. The announcement to decide on the bail plea was made on Friday when Daduwal was brought by Police for a court hearing in a 2011 case registered against him.
Baba Daduwal was presented in the court of Mansa Chief Judicial Magistrate (First Class) VK Narang for a hearing on his bail plea in a case registered against him by the Mansa police on August 27 under the Arms Act. The bail has been granted but Baba Daduwal is yet to pay a bail bond of Rs 200,000.
Baba Daduwal’s Counsel HS Tiwana said that the court had sent Baba Daduwal back to the Faridkot jail. The next hearing in the Bhikhi case is being held on September 29.
