Sacha Sauda Cult Followers Attack Gursikh In Police Custody

AMBALA, Haryana, India—S. Amarinder Singh, a Sikh based out of Ambala, Haryana, was attacked in prison yesterday.  He was arrested this past Sunday for posting a morphed picture of Sacha Sauda chief on Facebook.  As per reports, four followers of the Sacha Sauda cult attacked him, however he retaliated back and saved himself from any serious injuries.

The attack allegedly took place in front of the police.  Amarinder Singh has now been granted bail, however, he faces a serious threat to his life by Sacha Sauda cultists.

Amarinder Singh had posted a picture of Gurmeet Ram Rahim on his Facebook account, the picture later went viral and was shared on Whatsapp and other social media sites.  The picture depicted the cult leader touching feat of Sant Jarnail Singh Bhindranwale.
