Kejriwal Road show at ludhianaLudhiana, Punjab—While speaking publicly on Google Hangouts (live video chat platform) with Rajdeep Sardesai, Arvind Kejriwal stated that the support he received in Punjab was “divine”.  Kejriwal visited Punjab last week to seek support for Aam Aadmi Party candidates.  Starting his tour by doing ardas, prayer, at Sri Harmandir Sahib (holiest shrine of Sikhs), the former Delhi Chief Minister visited a number of key cities across Punjab.

The road shows in support of Aam Aadmi Party candidates received a huge response from people which boosted the election campaign of AAP in Punjab.  His trip lasted three days after which he left for Delhi for one day and then Varanasi to seek support for his candidature there against Narendra Modi.

While speaking to his supporters in Punjab, Kejriwal raised the issue of the 1984 anti-Sikh pogroms.  He said that he has done ardas to “Baba Ji” at Harmandir Sahib to seek courage in removing corruption from India.  He continued to greet his visitors with “Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh” slogans.

Arvind Kejriwal too seemed stunned by the massive turnout in support of Aam Aadmi Party.  On Google Hangouts, Kejriwal stated that what he witnessed in Punjab is different from what he has seen anywhere else.
