Five Sikhs Continue Five Day Hunger Strike In London To Raise Awareness

LONDON, UK—Five Sikhs have continued their hunger striker for a second day outside the Indian High Commission, London. It was announced on December 10, 2013 by the Sikh Organisation for Prisoner Welfare (SOPW) that the five Sikhs had undertaken a 5 day hunger strike to raise awareness of Bhai Gurbaksh Singh Khalsa’s plight in Punjab where he has been on a hunger strike since November 14, 2013.

Bhai Gurbaksh Singh started his hunger strike on November 14th in order to free Sikh Political Prisoners who are still being held in prison after completing their court mandated sentences.
