New Khalsa High School Building to Come Up in Surrey, BC

10779_schoolVANCOUVER, BC, Canada—Khalsa School (BC) is in the process of constructing a new high school in Surrey, British Columbia.  The high school will include first rate facilities including an auditorium, a large gym, trade rooms for a wide variety of elective subjects, a large soccer field surrounded by a 400M track and much more.

Construction began recently and phase one of the school will be ready for opening in September 2014.  Once the high school is complete, Khalsa School’s two other buildings will become elementary schools with no high school grades.

Khalsa School was founded in 1986 by Bhai Sahib Bhai Jeevan Singh Jee and has grown to become the largest private school in the entire province of British Columbia with over 2600 students.  The high school will have a capacity of 600 students and so the school will reach a capacity of over 3000 students once construction of the high school is complete.
