NEW DELHI—Bhai Baljeet Singh Bhau, an alleged acquaintance of Bhai Jagtar Singh Hawara was recently released on bail from Delhi’s Tihar Jail. Upon being released, he has had to regularly visit courts and police stations due to various cases and restrictions imposed upon him.
Bhai Bhau was arrested on conspiring the Delhi cinema bomb blasts, something which the prosecution has failed to prove yet.
While speaking to the press after a court hearing in New Delhi, Bhai Baljeet Singh alleged that his mother, Bibi Charanjit Kaur, was illegally disqualified from the village council elections. As per Bhai Bhau’s statement, his mother was disqualified solely on the basis that she is his mother. He said that this was done deliberately by the Badals.
Bhai Bhau said that the Government is responsible for coercion of Sikhs in jails but now even the Akalis are working against the community. He said that such leaders are responsible for the downfall of the Sikh Nation.
