Judge Insults and Mocks Innocent Sikh Prisoner in Court

NEW DELHI—In yet another case of  innocent suffering, Bhai Baljit Singh Bhau who has already served a 6 year imprisonment in jail without charge was today produced before the Delhi court amongst high security.

Judge Rakesh Sidharth was supposed to announce the decision on Bhai Bhau’s bail but on reaching the court, the judge shouted insults at him accusing Bhai Bhau of teeming up with Bhai Jagtar Singh Hawara and performing activities against the Indian nation.

In a 2 hour long argument that took place in the court, Bhai Bhau’s lawyer Maninder Singh retaliated with arguments saying Baba Piara Singh Bhaniarawala who burned the saroops of Guru Granth Sahib is no less a criminal but still he is announced a sentence of just 3 years in jail and later released on bail. Whereas Bhai Bhau has no witnesses testifying against him and no explosives have been found in his possession, yet is still made to serve a prolonged sentence in jail.

Bhai Bhau was arrested for his alleged involvement in the Delhi cinema hall blasts case  but with a lack of sufficient evidence against him, the Delhi police and opposition lawyers are trying their best to conspire against him to delay the process of his release.

The court has adjourned for the next hearing on 7 June 2013.
