Leamington Spa, UK (March 3, 2013) – Today an elderly Amritdhari Sikh gentleman died of what seems to be a heart attack during a Gurdwara meeting being hosted by the corrupt Management Committee of Leamington & Warwick Gurdwara Sahib. It has been widely reported in the past few years how Leamington & Warwick Gurdwara Sahib has been infiltrated by agents of the Indian Government and anti-Sikh Congress supporters and trying its best to destroy Sikhi.
The Gurdwara Management Committee held a meeting straight after the Akhand Paath bhog to discuss about changing the banks for the loan outstanding for the Gurdwara building, during which paramedics had to be called to resuscitate an elderly Sikh community member. During this meeting, there were people sitting in the Sangat (congregation) for the change and against it.
The Sangat was supposed to “vote” on a decision, i.e. to rubber stamp the Management Committee’s decision. However, the corrupt Management Committee had already made up their mind that they were going to change the bank, as this would allow the Community Centre building to become free from the risk of being handed over to the bank in case the loan payments could not be paid.
The Management Committee wanted to extend the lifetime of the loan so that the overall payments would be more, but less in the short-term. The Management Committee were selling this change on the fact that the repayments would be less and more manageable.
A few people got up to speak in the Divaan Hall (main prayer hall) where the meeting was taking place. One of these individuals was Bhai Tarlochan Singh, a respect community elder who has been in the forefront in standing for the Panth over the years, who said a few words, but when he went to sit back down he collapsed and went into a cardiac arrest. CPR was commenced and paramedics came. They continued to try to resuscitate him in the Divaan Hall and a second ambulance was called with paramedics. After about 20 minutes, the Granthi Singh started to do Chaupai Sahib Paath and then Simran. Everyone was in shock.
After another 10-15 minutes the paramedics took Bhai Tarlochan Singh into another room to continue working on him in private. In the meantime, a couple of members of the Sangat asked Jaswant Virdee (a Trustee of the Gurdwara), who was in charge of the stage, to postpone any further discussions about changing the banks, as it was wholly inappropriate. However, incredibly, Jaswant Virdee said the vote would go ahead, despite most of the Sangat who were against changing banks had already left the Diwan Hall and were concerned about what was happening to Bhai Tarlochan Singh.
Those who could not care less, voted for the change of banks to proceed and this was passed. There were two observers in the Sangat (invited by the committee), Bilhar Singh (Ramae vala – Badal Akali Dal member) and Sarban Singh (from Coventry), and they were too cold hearted to have any compassion and tell the Gurdwara Management Committee that any discussions must be postponed, given the circumstances.
This seems absolutely against everything Sikhi stands for – Bhai Tarlochan Singh was a most respected, kind-hearted and gentle person, who had so much love for Sikhi and would do anything to help anyone in need. He has sadly passed away. The stress of the injustices going on at the Leamington & Warwick Gurdwara Sahib did not probably help – a very sad state of affairs.
Those who are responsible of showing little no empathy should be ashamed – but they would need to have a conscience in the first place, which is sadly lacking.
Amrit was created to prepare fighting force against Hindu Community Destroyer Muslim Ruler Aurangzeb. Amritdharies are Guru Ji’s FAUJ and is needed to fight the WARS. Amritdharies has no role in civilized societies. Amritdharies do not understand Guru Gobind Singh Ji philosophy/purpose/aim/foresight and now involve in bullying, looting, smuggling and other criminal acts hence not following Guru ji’s teaching. I was taught by elders “GURU DI FAUJ” to fight against high handedness even in Gurdwara. Please come visit Fremont, California and let Amritdhari take POLYGRAPH and I’ll pay the test fee. Your life is false and fake, fabricated and framed allegation, loot congregation funds for survival without accountability and heavily involved in smuggling of human and drugs to be honcho. Amritdhari are degrading Sikh communities on international arena. I have evidence and submitted in California Superior Court. Do you have single evidence to submit of any act ever did against Sikh Religion or Community but I have that Amritdhari and Khalsa did in Gurdwara. The Trustee who had taken Amrit publicly declared that he is no longer an Amritdhari.
The Committee are against Amrit and even told Baba Daljit Singh Dadu wale that he is not allowed to mention taking Amrit and not drinking alcohol from the Gurdwara stage.
It is sad and loss of family member as well Sikh community member under the order of Waheguru.
I’m thankful to Guru Ji and Technology that Amritdharies and Gurdwara thugs’ crimes are being exposed every day. Now the hard working Sikhs are realizing that so-called Sewadars are Sajjan-Thugs and Amritdharies are MASANDS.
It is hard to find true Sikhs, Amritdhari is not anywhere but showcase as most of them travel by air without sword (Kirpan) including so called Akal Takhat Jathedars, operate in religious places (so called Gurdwara) to do business of Drugs and can hide from law, consume Opium and Marijuana at religious places and can hide from law and enforcement, run business to haul contraband goods and sell Tobacco against the advice of Guru Gobind Singh Ji, attend non-vegitarian clubs, parties, hotels and restaurants, management committee and its hit men/women who involve in extra marital relations in religious places, who involve directly or indirectly illegal, bigamy operations at religious places, terrify Sangat members to hide its criminal acts at religious places, Thugs who raise hands at honest and professional Sangat members to conceal its million dollars theft at religious places and list goes on for personnel gains.
Amritdharies are surviving for centuries on cost of faith of millions innocent Sikhs. They have made their own rules within Gurdwara.
Surjit Kaur: Amritdhari must not act, attend, deal, enter, partnership, ride or walk with any action where Meats, Alcohols, Drugs or Sikh religious barred material is baked, cooked, distributed, moved, processed, served, stored, transported etc. We witness non-compliance every second with our own eyes but failing to identify.
Even if someone fainted in a staff meeting and paramedics had to be called, i would not expect any right minded company to carry on with their staff meeting. They would delay to next day or whenever.
Sad to see humanity and compassion vanish from people who are controlling institutions under the name of the Great Sikh Gurus.
Why is another loan being taken out on the Gurdwara and not the Gurdwara owned community centre?
And why is the Sikh Community Centre going to be leased to private people for 100 years?
Also is it right to have people who have broke their Amrit by drinking alcohol and publically saying on the Gurdwara stage that it is okay to drink alcohol and that non-Amritdharis are better than those who take Amrit be allowed to talk on a Gurdwara stage let alone be a trustee or stage secretary of a Gurdwara?
The point late Bhai Tarlochan Singh Ji was opposing was meat and alcohol being allowed in Gurdwara. Surely, as Sikhs of our Great Guru who forbid both, we should at least support the fact that such a shocking disrespect by superficial Sikhs is a cause for immense stress of immense beadbi to our Living Sri Guru Granth Sahib Jio..unbelievable the sarcasm in the remarks by maya loving Sikhs Jagmohan Kaur, and anonymous!
SGPC’S intervention should be sought to take action against Gurdwaras world over who allow meat and alcohol, by removing Sri Guru Granth Sahib Jio, since such Sikhs have lost their conscience?

Very sad day. The paramedics said it was caused by stress??? The paramedics would not be able to diagnose the cause like that obviously some masala been added to the story. Writers should stick to the facts.

Very sad… Bhai Tarlochan Singh was the most loving, great-hearted of people, with incredible humility and sharda… As are result, he was very respected… He got up to speak when people began to bad mouth severely, his son who had been in the previous committee, and being so gentle and soft-hearted, he must have become very shocked and stressed… his last words were Guru’s fateh…
Rather than behaving and preaching in the Gurdwara sahib like you should , behaviours of humbleness, humility and compassion these people pushed through an agenda like a business decision taking advantage of the situation,

The only fact I cannot agree with is that there could be other reasons for heart attack say bad eating habbits? Personal problems? I have never seen any postmartum report declaring some particular stress causing particularly heart attack. You can’t judge the reason of the heart attack. We can say if the stress was particularly caused by gurghar’s situation or his personal problems or something else. Media should get some licence for judging death of someone.
If you think the stress was too much and you really know what was going on in his mind then kudos! You are god!
