LONDON, UK—Over the last few weeks many Sikhs have written to MPs about the possible visit of Jagdish Tytler, KPS Gill and others from India as part of the official Indian delegation for the London 2012 Olympics.
In the run up to the start of the Games the Sikh Federation (UK) has been pushing Shadow Foreign Office Ministers to get a response from the Foreign Minister responsible for relations with India.  Staff working for John Spellar MP have been in daily contact and at the end of last week complained due to a lack of response from the UK Government (see letter attached).
Today the Sikh Federation (UK) has been copied the letter sent to John Spellar MP, a Shadow Foreign Minister, by Jeremy Browne the Foreign Minister responsible for relations with India (see letter attached).
The letter states:
The Foreign Office ‘do not routinely comment on individual cases.’  But has confirmed its policy is clear ‘that accreditation shall be refused to any individual who may present a safety or security risk, where their presence at the Games or in the United Kingdom would not be conducive to the public good or if there is independent, reliable and credible evidence that they have committed human rights abuses.’
The Foreign Minister continues:
‘I am aware of the level of concern in the Sikh community in Britain about the treatment of their fellow Sikhs in India. We note that in 2005 Indian Prime Minister Singh offered an apology for the 1984 massacre in Parliament during discussions on a new judicial inquiry into the violence. Whilst the Indian government has indicated that the events of 1984 will be looked into further, the British Government has no locus to intervene in India’s judicial process.’
The letter has not confirmed or denied Jadish Tytler and KPS Gill will be at the London 2012 Olympics.  However, the language used by the Foreign Minister implies ‘accreditation’ may have been refused.
The Foreign Office was very unlikely to categorically state the Indian Government has been told that people like Jadish Tytler and KPS Gill are not welcome, but UK MPs who are familiar with the type of diplomatic language used by the UK Foreign Office have suggested the Sikh community should interpret from this letter that the UK Government has taken the matter seriously and India would not now risk these individuals representing them in any capacity at the London Olympics.
KPS Gill the tyrant. The man who sold his soul the the devil. Known as the devils henchman and comparable to Hitler in his crimes against Sikhism.
Also block entry to khalistanis who killed other minorities.I will soon forward this list to European union of sikh leaders who promote human killing to achieve their aim.These butchers on Sangat and Sikh Channel openly take credit for killing the people in punjab.

That’s why italy has decided to go ahead with ban on kirpan in their country and more bans will follow.Already London committee has placed some sanctions on.This is all due to khalistanis who just enjoy killing to achieve their aims.Already lower castes have defected from sikhs and got their own places of worship in punjab free of bhindrawalan posters or khalistan slogans.

I do agree with you .We don’t want ISI agents to run the country.I stopped going to gurdwaras in Europe as they are totally infiltrated with khalistanis.They don’t talk about teaching of Gurus and just about khalistan and rajona ,etc.The 1984 was a result of power struggle by giani zail singh and Indira supporter jarnail singh.

Hey listen sunny dude, first of all the info you provide in your comments back it up with evidence or quit misguiding people. Let me explain a couple of things you rambled on about and still yet failed to understand. I’m a Sikh and I was born after 1984. 28 years have passed and the topic is still as delicate as it ever has been and the Sikh population will not forget it. You know why? Because thousands of innocent people were tortured and killed, families ripped apart, human beings killed with no remorse. You talk about who to blame? The blame is on the corrputed high officials and every single person that destroyed a life in 1984. You talk about The Kalistan Movement was connected with Pakistan? The Kalistan Movement was only created because of The greedy and still corrupt Indian goverenment that refused to give Sikhs equality. The Muslims got Pakistan and the Hindus got India. What did the Sikhs get? They were strangers to both sides. Why didn’t they get their own state? The 1984 incident was a horrific event no Person should go through, but yet it happened and killers got away. Us humans will never understand what truly went on and so it is unright of us to make accusations toward others. Especially towards fighters of the Kalistan Movement whose assumptions you heard from the thousands of lies from India trying to cover up their unjust actions. All I know is Waheguru saw those that were corrupt and wrong and the innocent and the wrong will pay. The least you can do is to try and learn about out such issues before making accusations. One more thing you said the Sikh religion will become like islam one day? You really don’t know anything about Sikhi then. jagdish tytler was born in Gujranwala(pakistan). Jagdish tytler was born to a hindu Father and Sikh Mother. He was later brought up by educationist James Douglas Tytler, the founder of Delhi Public School and several other schools. Upon, his influence he converted to Christianity and changed his surname. What do you hope from British Government.They were the ones who were famous for jalianwala, hanging of bhagat singh and udham singh .I can’t believe that Sikhs are relying on foreign governments.It is best to challenge tytler in indian courts and do dharnas outside his residence rather than scaring people in UK.The result is going to be far more positive.Do nukkad nataks in india and make people aware that how the sikhs were treated.
