This past Sunday, a program was organized within the jail premises in which Bibi Jagir Kaur honoured Jagjit Singh, Inspector General and SP Khanna, Jail Superintendent.� Jagjit Singh was honoured for his role in drug de-addiction program that is underway there.� Notably, when different organisations had claimed that the Bibi was getting VIP treatment, it was Jagjit Singh who defended jail authorities, claiming that the Bibi was getting same treatment as other inmates.
