Amritsar Sahib—Akal Takht Sahib has called upon Punjab Government to arrest a lady principal of a school for allegedly converting her students to the Dera Sacha Sauda sect. Akal Takht Jathedar Gyani Gurbachan Singh alleged that the principal of Guru Gobind Singh Adarash Senior Secondary School in Sahnewala village of Mansa district had taken her students, including Sikhs, to Dera Sacha Sauda Sect in Sirsa a few days back where they were asked to drink the ‘Jaam-e-Insaan’ which signified conversion to the sect. Alleging that the principal has hurt the sentiments of the Sikh community, Gurbachan Singh asked the government to arrest the teacher “before the law and order situation slipped out of control”.
