AMRITSAR SAHIB, Punjab—The 25th martyrdom anniversary of Babbar Khalsa activist Bhai Dharam Singh Kashtiwal and Bhai Sahib Singh Kashtiwal was observed at Bhai Dharam Singh Khalsa Trust (situated Sultanwind, Amritsar Sahib) on November 28. Following the culmination of Sehaj Path, Raagi Singhs recited Gurbani verses in melodious tones and Dhadis & Kavishar addressed the life tales of martyred Babbar Khalsa activists.
Addressing the gathering on this occasion, SGPC member Bhai Karnail Singh Panjoli said that Bhai Dharam Singh Khalsa Charitable Trust has emerged as central trust for families of martyrs due to efforts of Bibi Sandeep Kaur and S. Baljit Singh Khalsa. He lauded the welfare services being tendered by this trust for the families of martyred Sikh fighters.
Bhai Satnam Singh Khalsa (one among the sacked five Punj Piares of Sri Akal Takht Sahib), Bibi Paramjit Kaur Khalra (wife of Shaheed Jaswant Singh Khalra), S. Kanwarpal Singh (Dal Khalsa), S. Paramjit Singh Tanda, S. Sarabjit Singh Ghuman, S. Balwinder Singh Kala, Bhai Paramjit Singh Akali, Bhai Manjit Singh Jhabaal etc. also addressed the gathering on this occasion.
More than 500 families of martyred Sikh freedom fighters of current Sikh struggle were honoured on this occasion.
A book named ‘ਸੰਕਲਪ’, which is penned by Master Sukhdev Singh Kaler, was also released during the program.
