CHANDIGARH, Punjab—The Panthak Front led by SAD (Amritsar) President S. Simranjit Singh Mann released its remaining list of 15 candidates for 2017 assembly polls last week. The second list also revealed that Simranjit Singh Mann would contest the election from the assembly constituency of Amargarh. Earlier, Mann had announced to contest polls from the Barnala constituency.
Panthak Front’s candidates are known for breaking the anti-incumbency vote bank of mainstream parties. It is a well-known fact that the Panthak candidates might not have succeeded in winning elections in the last few years but they always play a vital role in winning of some candidates at some seats.
