AMRITSAR SAHIB, Punjab—Political Sikh prisoner Prof. Davinder Pal Singh Bhullar was released on parole on July 29 for 21 days by the authorities of Central Jail of Amritsar. He has been granted parole after two and half month of surrendering before the Jail authorities. Earlier, he was released on 21 days parole on April 23 and he had surrendered before the Jail authorities on May 15.
Prof. Bhullar reached the parental home of his wife Bibi Navneet Kaur situated in Ranjit Avenue of Amritsar during the evening hours of July 29.
Prof. Davender Pal Singh Bhullar was framed under Terrorism and Disruptive Activities (Prevention) Act (TADA) in a case of killing nine bystanders in a 1993 car bombing intended to kill Maninderjeet Bitta (Youth Congress leader), and was sentenced to death. The Supreme Court of India had commuted his death sentence to life Imprisonment on 31 March 2014, both on the ground of an unexplained and inordinate delay of eight years in deciding his mercy petition and on the ground of suffering from Schizophrenia.
Under pressure of Bapu Surat Singh Khalsa’s struggle, his transfer to Central Jail of Amritsar was okayed by the Punjab government last year and he was transferred to Punjab in May 2015. This is is the exact opposite message given to the Sikhs by Guru Gobind Singh Ji on 13th April 1699 when he created the Khalsa which in turn begat the heroics of Banda Singh Bahadur, the Sikh Misls and Maharajah Ranjit Singh to throw off the yoke of the Moghul oppressor to create the sovereign Khalsa Raj State in Punjab. In turn Khalsa inspired the likes of Shaheeds Kartar Singh Sarabha who then inspired Bhagat SIngh who in turn inspired Udham Singh to similarly throw off the yoke of British imperialist rule which was seemingly as all powerful as the Moghuls had been before it. Those are facts – although I strongly urge you not to rely on wikipedia entries for your research as explained to you before! So Sikh nation and sovereignty are provable historical FACTS. Give us proveable FACTS about your magical mystical mystery EMPIRE which has robbed you of your manhood and which you insist should make eunuchs of moral men. I honestly feel such pity for you. A Sikh can never be a slave. We threw off the shackles of the slavery mindset centuries ago but you obviously have retained such backwards thinking of your forefathers till this day. Fortunately for you the Sikhs rose up and gave you freedom. As for your Empire, I have asked you again and again and again (you never answer) which Empire you are talking about? British Empire is dead. So is Roman, Byzantian, Moghul so which one you are talking about? Say it plainly and make your delusion know publicly. Is it conspiracy theory empire you wish to blame all of India’s ills upon? Some space faring empire of lizard aliens who wear human form?
