FSO to oppose RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat’s visit to UK on July 30

LONDON, UK—UK based Federation of Sikh Organizations (FSO) has announced to hold a protest against the visit of RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat. The protest has been scheduled to be organized at Hertfordshire County Showground in Redbourn on July 30 from 1 to 4 PM.

Talking with Sikh24 correspondent, Press Secretary of FSO Gurjeet Singh said that the RSS chief was given visa by UK government under pressure from Modi Government.  He alleged that the RSS chief was in attempt to spread communal hatred in Europe.

Mohan Bhagwat heads the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), the group which is responsible for large scale murders and terrorist camps against Sikhs, Dalits, Muslims, Christians and Hindus in India.

In England, the Hindu Swayamsevak Sangh (HSS) is actively engaged in promoting the visit of Mohan Bhagwat in the UK.  HSS has invited Bhagwat to mark its golden jubilee anniversary. It will be the first time Bhagwat that will address a “Mahashivir” (mega camp) of volunteers in the UK who draw inspiration from the RSS.

“This is the first time that RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat would address such a big gathering of Hindus in UK. The programme is of HSS, which draws inspiration from the RSS. The event is being organised by the Hindu community to help connect the new generation with the country’s cultural heritage, besides helping them promote community and social work that showcases the Hindu model to the world,” all-India RSS Communications in-charge Manmohan Vaidya told PTI.

The protest will be held at the following location –
