PATIALA, Punjab—In a statement shared with Sikh24, Bhai Ranjit Singh Dhadrianwale has clarified that he has never questioned writings by Guru Gobind Singh Ji. Culprits arrested in relation to the attack were presented in the Ludhiana court yesterday, May 20. Court sent 4 of the assailants on a 4 day police remand. Whilst being taken to the police station, one of the assailants was heard saying, “anyone who speaks against ‘Dasam’ will face the same fate”.
Bhai Ranjit Singh Khalsa Dhadrianwale categorically stated that not once in 17 years of parchar has he ever spoken against Sri Dasam Granth. “If this is the case, show me a single statement,” Bhai Dhadrianwale said.
“These people are using this as an excuse, which is totally 100% invalid and unfounded, to cover-up the assassination attempt that led to the Shaheedi of Bhai Bhupinder Singh Ji. A game is being played with the Sikhs to divert the issue. The fact of the matter is a Parcharak of the Khalsa Panth has been murdered. Without grounds, those behind this attack are turning this criminal activity into a religious matter about Sri Dasam Granth, excuses are being created,” Bhai Ranjit Singh Dhadrianwale said in the statement.
Bhai Ranjit Singh Dhadrianwale has given an ultimatum for the authorities to present the mastermind of the armed attack by no later than the Bhog Samagam of Bhai Bhupinder Singh Ji. In the event there is no action before that time, May 26, 2016, then following the Antim Ardas an announcement will be made to commence a large scale peaceful Sangharsh for justice.
Masses of supporting Sikh organisations have been visiting Gurdwara Parmeshar Dwar Sahib since the incident and a large majority of Sikhs from across the world are prepared to support a Sangharsh if there is no justice to bring the masterminds of the murder of the Shaheed Parcharak to account.
During a video statement issued from Gurdwara Permeshar Dwar, Bhai Ranjit Singh Khalsa said he himself does not wish to name the leader of these assailants, but the entire Sikh nation is waiting for this individual to be named and brought to account by the Punjab Government.
He has also never spoken directly for the DG in his 17 years as a parcharak.
The only people in Punjab who should wield a gun should be the
Punjab Police under the authority of the Law makers.
If the Punjab police does not maintain a upper hand then some of these groups will target them one day .
Punjab will slip into a chaotic ,anarchic and a lawless state.
The law makers and Punjab police have to make Punjab into a
“UTOPIAN STATE “
The problem with this is the Punjab Police have as much integrity as a chocolate teapot. They have themselves murdered two Sikhs on the street in Kotkapura only seven months ago and have not even brought their own guilty officers to book. As for law makers I would remind you again such people have instituted laws such as TADA and POTA (both since discredited and repealed) which led to the mass persecution and human rights abuses of Sikhs in Punjab.
