CHANDIGARH, Punjab—Hitting back at Sikh rights group Sikhs For Justice (SFJ), Punjab Congress president Captain Amarinder Singh alleged that SFJ is playing in hands of Pakistan’s Inter-service intelligence (ISI) and the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP).

It is notable that SFJ filed a complaint against the former Chief Minister of Punjab alleging that he committed atrocities on the Sikhs through the Punjab police, who were later rewarded and given promotions.  Following the complaint filed by SFJ, Amarinder has canceled his three-week tour to Canada fearing of action.

Distressed over the complaint, he blamed the SFJ for violating Canadian law introduced for safeguard of human rights of Canadian citizens.

Refuting the charges of atrocities, he urged government of India to take up issue of summoning Indian legislatures by Canadian courts with federal government of Canada.

Sikhs for Justice has stated that it would protest against all Indian politicians who are trying to gather support in North America.  Recently, SFJ activst Tejinder Kaur was seen debating with Sukhpal Singh Khaira of the Aam Aadmi Party on the issue of Khalistan.  SFJ activists also rallied against HS Phoolka last month in March.
